As a long time resident of Hamilton County, I grew up on a farm and am continually influenced by nature. I enjoy taking the elements of flora, fauna and design to incorporate into my artwork.

I went to Hamilton Southeastern High School, then attended John Herron School of Art, IUPUI, Indianapolis, Indiana.

My adult life I have been involved in various design careers such as Gallery Associate, Custom Picture Framer, Corporate Art Consulant, Floral Designer, Faux Painter/Muralist and Freelance Design Consultant. I taught an art class at DePauw University, Greencastle, Indiana all while continuing to paint.

I am now devoting more time to painting whimsical images in acrylics. Because of my love of animals, I have had a lot of fun painting colorful modern pet portraits too. I will also continue to accept commissions of various subject matter.
