Artist: Jacque Hamonds

A "Jacque-of-all-trades", or if you want to call them interests, defines the variety of imagery usually displayed in Jacque’s artwork. And each year, the designs for the guitars have reflected her diversity in tastes of music. Admittedly, this was quite unintentional, until she observed a pattern in her choices in composition. Lazy and fun was the style for the first guitar; a Jimmy Buffett-influenced piece with island icons on a blue background. For the second guitar, Jacque chose a completely different style, influenced by her fascination with medieval and renaissance music and art. This year, her third guitar seems to be taking on a Jazz feel, with her influence being the Indianapolis-born guitarist Wes Montgomery. Music plays an important part in Jacque’s life: defining, expressing, creating, and inspiring. And so goes the art of the guitars.
