What is IU Health North Hospital Rock the District?
Rock the District is a free, community-wide music festival and shopping extravaganza taking place in the heart of the Arts & Design District in downtown Carmel, Indiana. IU Health North Hospital Rock the District is on Saturday, June 11th from 2:30pm to 9pm. 

What is taking place during the event?
There will be more than eight hours of great music on multiple stages, a wide variety of food to please the taste buds, and a District-wide sidewalk sale to delight shoppers of all ages. 

The Arts & Design District is comprised of many unique shops, galleries, and restaurants. Many of these businesses will be hosting special activities and sales exclusively for IU Health North Hospital Rock the District! Please click here to view a list of activities.

Does it cost anything to attend IU Health North Hospital Rock the District?
No, there is no admission fee to attend IU Health North Hospital Rock the District!

Where is the festival?
IU Health North Hospital Rock the District takes place in Carmel’s Arts & Design District, spanning the intersection of Main Street and Range Line Road. Click here for directions to the District.

Where can I park?
Parking is available in the West Lot across from Carmel High School parallel to 4th Ave, the Carmel Lions Club parking lot and other public parking spaces surrounding the festival area. Please see the "Directions & Parking" page for more information.

New this year: Pedal & Park will provide free parking located at the Monon Trail in the Arts & Design District for those attendees wishing to bike or rollerblade to IU Health North Hospital Rock the District. The parking corral will be continuously monitored and kept secure by volunteers throughout the day.

Can I bring chairs and blankets for the main stage concert?
You may bring chairs and blankets for your comfort during the main stage performances, however, the space directly in front of the main stage will be open for standing room only. Chairs and blankets will only be allowed behind the space designated for those wishing to stand.

What happens if it rains?
IU Health North Hospital Rock the District is scheduled to go on rain or shine. In case of inclement weather or heavy downpours, a potential contingency plan is in the works. Please check the website on the day of the event for details.

I’ve never heard of some of these bands. How can I listen to their music?
Good question! We were extremely impressed by the talent of the musicians that are playing at IU Health North Hospital Rock the District this year, and would love to share their websites with you.
