30 Carmel Arts & Design District Businesses Honored as
TheIndyChannel.com A-List Award Nominees
CARMEL, Ind. — For the third-straight year, a host of Carmel Arts & Design District businesses are nominees for WRTV’s prestigious TheIndyChannel.com A-List Awards. Nearly one-third of the District’s more than 100 boutiques, eateries, merchants and service providers earned upper-echelon spots among the 2009 nominees.
The A-List Awards seek the best of the best in central Indiana, spotlighting more than 2,200 nominated vendors and service providers in more than 100 categories. Winners are selected based on popular vote from central Indiana consumers.
This year, the list of honored Carmel Arts & Design District businesses represents the full spectrum of diverse and unique businesses that make their home in Old Town Carmel, from master jewelers and signature fine art galleries to bakeries and bookstores.
“It’s thrilling to have even more District businesses recognized for their quality, service and unique character this year,” said Sherry Mielke, director of operations for the Carmel Arts & Design District. “We feel that we’re growing a community of very special, very select merchants and service providers here in the District, and it is wonderful to see that so many patrons and customers agree with us.”
