New Boutique Opens in Arts & Design District

Carmel, IN – “Tree Haus,” a unique retail shop offering women’s and children’s fashion and accessories, lighting and vintage furniture, opened in the Arts & Design District on Friday, November 24th.

Tree Haus, located at 15 E. Main Street, Suite 100, is part of the Pedcor Development Company Old Town Shops located on the southeast corner of Range Line Road and Main Street.

In addition to fashion, gifts and home furnishings, shoppers visiting Tree Haus can also find ecologically-minded goods and weekly tips on how to keep yourself and your world green.  The boutique also showcases art and design by national and international artists.

“A visit to Tree Haus should be a delight to the senses!  A place where you can not only indulge yourself, but also rejuvenate and reflect among friends,” said Zanita Zody, co-owner of Tree Haus.

Owners Zanita Zody and Heidi Woodman also own “Haus,” a woman’s clothing and gift boutique located at 5910 N. College Avenue in the Broad Ripple area.

“We decided to add a second store in the Arts & Design District not only because of its inherent charm and intimacy, but also because we both put a great deal of value in the District’s emphasis on the arts,” said Zody.

The Arts & Design District, concentrated in Carmel’s Old Town area, houses a mix of cultural amenities including galleries, shops, upscale boutiques, cafes, restaurants and residences to form a unique atmosphere and anchor of attraction in the community.
