In Celebration of the Palladium Opening, an Art
Contest in the Carmel Arts and Design District

Students are welcome to visit the Palladium website to view the visual tour . The subject of the piece can be any part of the Palladium ,interior or exterior including  an architectural feature (window , door chandelier,etc)or the whole exterior. Please see www.thecenterfortheperformingarts.org
We will announce the winners January 22nd the opening week of the Palladium. The winners will be contacted by email. All art pieces will be displayed on Main Street in the storefront 2 doors East of the old Arts and Design District Office. Participants are welcome to pick up their art after February 1st through February 5th at the ArtSplash Gallery (111 W Main Street) Tuesday-Saturday 12-5.Unless other arrangements are made all artwork not picked up by this date will be donated locally.

PRIZES:
The winners will have his or her winning piece on the Carmel Arts and Design District website as well as The Center For The Performing Arts website. The winner will also receive 2 tickets, with which to choose from 4 different performances: Camerata Ireland on March 11, Kronos Quartet on April 17, Tango Buenos Aires on March 16, or Savion Glover on April 1.

RULES:
1. This contest is open to Students K-12.

2. One entry per student.

3. The piece should be 8 1/2 x 11 inches.

4. Include Name, Grade, Phone#, and Email Address (Legible)

5. The Deadline for the piece is January 22nd.

6. There will be one winner per grade.

7. Drop off art at the Carmel Arts and Design District Office on the second floor of the Evan Lurie Building 30 W. Main st. (Suite 220). We are open 9-5 Monday thru Friday.

8. The pieces will be judged by artists in the District.
