Merchant Activities During Carmel International Arts Festival

Addendum Gallery, 111 W. Main Street, Suite 115
    -  Featuring the work of two artists in front of gallery during festival hours
      • A.S. Batle – functional graphite objects that draw.  The “pencils” take a variety of shapes and forms including a wing, quill, grasshopper and even a pair of salmon
      • Grace Gunning – Reliquary Boxes formed from industrial strength copper on a hand-turned machine from the 1800’s used to make parts for rifles.  These whimsical boxes feature various themes and movements

Artichoke Designs, 240 W. Main Street
    -  Offering tours of new design studio located at 240 W. Main  Street during festival hours

Artisan Masterpiece, 19 E. Main Street
    -  HALLOWEEN HAPPINESS – families are invited to paint Halloween pottery from 10am-5pm Saturday, Sept. 22nd and noon-4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23rd.  Painters will receive 10% off all pottery items.  Enjoy refreshments while you paint!

Carmel Arts LLC Residences, 30 W. Main Street
    -  Tours of the Renaissance Luxury Condominiums located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Evan Lurie  Fine Art  Gallery
    -  Table outside building with literature and information about condominiums during festival hours

Carmel Old Town Antique Mall, 38 W. Main Street
    -  Exhibiting works from three Hamilton County artists the week of 9/17-9/23
      • Greg Knipe of Home Place showing welded sculptures
      • Jan Gee of Cicero displaying pen and ink drawings as well as watercolors of local settings
      • Diane Frederick of Sheridan showing portraits and landscapes in oil on canvas
    -  Week long sale on vintage art in many forms including art glass, pottery, textiles, jewelry and hanging art

Chaos, 37 W. Main Street
    -  Register to win free Colts tickets during the festival

Deborah De Fazio Lyons Portrait Artist Studio and Gallery, 43 W. Main Street
    -  Celebrating the gallery’s one-year anniversary!
    -  Serving free wine, lemonade and snacks during festival hours
    -  Deborah will be painting live portraits and offering special discounts on all custom pet portraiture

Grosser & Co., Master Jeweler, 2 W. Main Street
    -  Free jewelry cleaning and inspections during festival hours
    -  Refreshments will be served

Joy of Raphael, 40 N. Range Line Road
    -  Celebrating their 2nd birthday!  Activities take place 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22nd.
    -  Receive free massages, free skin care analysis, free hand facials, and free ionic foot baths

    -  Selling frozen Hurricanes with or without alcohol and Abita Beer, a Cajun beer brewed in Abita Springs, Louisiana
    -  Drawing for dinner for two at Mudbugs Cajun Café during festival hours

Museum of Miniature Houses, 111 E. Main Street
    -  Krista Bermeo, member of the Indiana Society of Lamp Workers and Glass Artists and International Society of Glass Beadmakers, will be demonstrating her glass-working magic on the front lawn of the Museum during the festival.

Petals and Fine Gifts, 111 W. Main Street, Suite 135
    -  Featuring art by local artist, Edwin Smith, in store all weekend
    -  Also sampling delicious dips, candy and soups during the festival

The Mystery Company, 233 2nd Ave., SW
    -  Friday, September 21st, 7 p.m. UK author Zoe Sharp, visits to talk about and sign copies of her first two novels, First Drop and Second Shot, two action-packed novels featuring bodyguard Charlie Fox.

World’s Smallest Children’s Art  Gallery, 40 W. Main Street
    -  Displaying artwork from the students of Our Lady of Mount Carmel School during the festival
    -  Additional exhibit of artwork from the students of Carmel’s Sister City, Kawachinagano, Japan
    -  Admission is free
