"For the May 14th Second Saturday Gallery Walk, ArtSplash Gallery will introduce the work of new artist Lynne Medsker. Lynne works in a variety of media, and produces colorful and engaging pieces to entertain the senses.”
J. Evelyn Confections is an Indiana based artisan candy company specializing in Truffles, Caramels, and Toffee. We are a web based company that takes our "store" out to the community to share our latest products and of course let people taste our sweets. Part of our mission is to offer a memorable and nostalgic experience to our customers through our delicious products, beautiful presentation, and personal service, while also offering current and interesting flavor pairings. We create every piece by hand using the best and freshest ingredients. Because we do not add any extra preservatives to extend the product life, we do small batch production and custom orders. As another part of our mission we give back to our community through various avenues. For example one of our give backs happens each October as we offer "Sweets for Mindy" (which is a box of Sea Salt Caramels and Sea Salt Pecan Chews). For every box we sell we donate a portion back to our local Indianapolis affiliate of Susan G. Komen to honor of our friend Mindy Landis and to help those who cannot otherwise afford their treatment.
Our products are uniquely crafted. Each piece is hand scooped or hand cut and then hand dipped--no machines. This gives a very nostalgic feel to our confections as no two pieces are the same-- just like grandma made. Our signature is our texture. From our creamy truffles to our "melt-in-your-mouth" caramels to our crunchy toffee, each bite is delightful. Much time and care goes into every batch we product.
