Throughout the month of December, visit participating galleries in the Arts & Design District to find “100 Artworks Under $100,” featuring one-of-a-kind masterpieces perfect for holiday gift-giving priced at $100 or under.

  • The Twelve Days of Mass Ave - “The Twelve Days of Mass Ave” is joint venture Holiday Pop-Up Store is led by Mass Avenue retailers Silver in the City, Nurture Baby, Crimson Tate Modern Quilter and Handmade Promenade. The store features goods from other popular Mass Ave and Downtown retailers including The Best Chocolate in Town, Global Gifts, and People for Urban Progress. “We are excited to collaborate with one another to bring this holiday shop to the Carmel Arts and Design district, introducing a sample of Mass Ave while getting to know the Carmel community,” Kristin Kohn, Mass Ave Merchants Association and owner of Silver in the City.

    The Store will also feature live jazz music from the Chatterbox, 3-5pm on Sunday Dec 15th, & Sunday Dec 22nd by musicians Jared Thompson and Ryan Taylor of Sax and Guitar.

    To celebrate, 14 Districts will host a “Global Gifts” promotion featuring a different continent every weekend. The Global Gifts promotion for December 13th & 14th will feature a 25% discount on collections created and manufactured in the Americas: Monrow (Los Angeles), Red 23 (Los Angeles), Before & Again (Minneapolis), The Lady & The Sailor (Beverly Hills), to name a few!
  • Artist Row Studios (254 1st Ave SW) will be offering a special half hour jewelry making class. Make a beautiful pair of earrings as a gift or for yourself! Choose copper or brass circles, then texture, dome, and add ear wires. Your choice of three finishes. Materials and tools provided. Class fee only $10.00 for this special Holiday Gallery Walk. Limit 10 students per class 6 pm, 7 pm and 8 pm. Advance reservations can be arranged.
  • ArtSplash Gallery (111 W. Main St., Suite 140) will feature award winning glass artist Ben Johnson. Don’t miss this opportunity to view his many new pieces. Ben’s work has been seen in museums as well as private collections throughout the country. Also at ArtSplash Gallery, don’t miss the amazing new mosaic cubes by artist Nancy Keating at only $85.00 and under, they make wonderful gifts!
  • Carmel Couture (1 S. Range Line Rd.)will be offering 20% off any purchase in their store between 5-10 pm. Incredible jewelry has just arrived with rare hard to find styles and stones.
  • Magdalena Gallery (27 E Main St., Suite 100) will be highlighting pieces by students from the Carmel Academy of Art featuring wonderful Santas.
  • The Museum of Miniature Houses (111 E. Main St.) will be hosting their annual Candlelight Tour from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Guests can see wonderful Christmas collections and be amazed by their large collection of dollhouses, ready for the holidays. There will also be wonderful caroling by The Sister Cities of Fishers Victorian Carolers and Dickens characters.
  • Caroling and refreshments will make this a truly wonderful evening.
  • Be a part of the Scavenger Hunt that will lead you to find select pieces of art in each of the participating galleries and businesses. Begin the hunt at the ArtSplash Gallery (111 W. Main St., Suite 140); follow the clues through the District, then turn in your completed clue sheet to receive a hand-painted ornament by artist Valentina Shvrykova and a chance to win one of the following prizes:
