Large collection of lladro figurines will be exhibited the month of December at the Soori Gallery.

New artist Shirin Moinvaziri paintings will be a part of the fundraising for St Jude children cancer research Hospital by selling Christmas related items and picture frames Soori Gallery will match all the proceeds raised from these special sales. This promotion will be till end of the year of 2013.

For Carmel's  Second Saturday in December, Eye On Art Gallery is proud to showcase art from the 2012 new members of the IAC as well as works by members of the IAC board of directors . Jerry Points, owner of Eye On Art and current president of the IAC, is impressed with the artistic distinction of the ten new members'  works.

Organized in 1917 by a group of professional artists that included T.C. Steele and Otto Stark, the Indiana Artists Club (IAC) continues to be an important asset to Indiana artists. IAC members are juried in according to the quality of their work. The membership now boasts of over 100 artists. The annual IAC exhibition, juried by an out-of-state professional, is held at the Indianapolis Museum of Art in April.

Artists included in the Second Saturday exhibition are Gwen Guitwein, Joel Knapp, Bruce Moore, David M. Seward, Susie Rachles, Julie M. Houck, Diane Overmyer, Roy Boswell, Robert M. Pulley, Rita Spaulding. The 2012 board members exhibiting include: April Willy, Laurie Wright, Pam Newell, Dorothy Englehart, Rodney Reveal, Greg Persellm Rena Brouwer and Jerry Points.

The Second Saturday Gallery Walk is December 8, 5 - 10 pm. The IAC showcase in Eye On Art Gallery will continue through January 9. Stop by and see Indiana art at its best!
