District Business and Guest Involvement

Dana Goot and band

Making music is a passion for Dana Goot, whether on the Indy Jazz Fest Stage at Penrod or as far away as the Northen Galilee of Israel, where she recently returned from a second tour. She will be performing with her jazz band on Main Street on October 13th for the Second Saturday Gallery Walk in Carmel's Arts & Design District. Just a few weeks ago she was seen on Main Street during the Carmel International Arts Fair. She performs jazz standards like "Stompin' at the Savoy," blues like, "Black Coffee," and R &B Jazz like "You Make Me Feel Brand New." Come out and take a listen to her and "her guys," with Tim O'Rourke blazing on the piano, Jim Newell scrumptiously steady on the bass, and Dave Hampton's dynamic driving on the drums. Guest reed and horn players will join them. View Dana's website and listen to song samples at www.danagoot.com.
