Art & Soul Gallery and Frame exhibits an eclectic collection of original works, limited edition prints and art glass by more than 60 nationally and internationally recognized artists.

ArtSplash Gallery

For the Second Saturday gallery walk in March, ArtSplash Gallery will be featuring a selection of new works by several of the gallery artists.  An added fun feature this month will be a raffle for a $50 gift certificate for fine dining at Donatello's Restaurant in the Arts & Design District.

Evan Lurie Gallery

The Evan Lurie Gallery will be hosting a group abstract show originally scheduled for February entitled “Abstraction Faction” featuring new work from artists Daniela Wicki, A. Dale Nally, Jason Myers and Brad Howe.

Eye On Art Gallery

Eye On Art Gallery will feature recent paintings by Jerry Points. The paintings on display will larger works that continue the exploration of color and design. The larger studio paintings are much more abstract than the plein air works Points is well known for. Points has had several recent works purchased for area corporate collections and his recent "Rainbow Woods" was purchased by the Greater Lafayette Museum of Art for their permanent collection. He will also be showing at the IMA in March and April as a part of the Indiana Artist's Exhibition.

French Bleu Fine Art Gallery

FRENCH BLEU Fine Art Gallery , located in the heart of the Carmel Arts & Design District, showcases the paintings of  owner and artist Susan Mauck .
Mauck describes her own artwork as “impressionistic, with a contemporary edge” . Portraiture, figures, and landscapes are displayed in the quaint and intimate space of FRENCH BLEU.  Also featured  in the gallery are the colorful abstract paintings of artist Nikko Minichiello..   Both artists will be exhibiting some new pieces for the March Gallery walk.  Also, check out new classes being offered at FRENCH BLEU.

Garvey Simon Art Access

David Morrison & Donald Mee
Nature Transformed

Featuring two Indiana artists with strong links to the Herron School of Art & Design, this show will feature the drawings of David Morrison and the sculptural furniture of Donald Mee. The exhibition will run from March 2–April 16, 2011

Magdalena Gallery of Art
15 East Main

Tom was born in 1958 in Cincinnati, OH. He attended classes at the Cincinnati Art Academy & the University of Cincinnati. However, he is a primarily self-taught artist. He is a founding member of the Maintraum Art Group. Towhey was instrumental in developing after school arts programs for the YMCA which included outreach programs for Children's Hospital. He has also served as a voluntary art teacher for St. Rita's School for the deaf. Tom is currently living and working in Cincinnati, OH.

Mary Johnston's Studio and Magdalena Gallery Atelier

All elements that drive her creativity along with a light touch of the paintbrush, feeling of peace and sense of place. As a child of the Great Lakes Mary grew up with a landscape of water, woods, rocks and a sense that everything around us is so much larger and more mysterious then we will ever comprehend. The large sky vistas of her current home state of Indiana bring the beautiful clouds and endless horizons to her work.

The Owner, Kathleen O'Neil Stevens, is an award winning artist and designer that knows perfectly placed evocative artwork can change the entire mood of an area, and in turn change our lives from deep within, and spaces designed with this in mind are not only visually pleasing, but also have a positive and lasting effect in our daily lives. Julie M. Houck grew up in the small farm town of Payne, Ohio. Her painting style has been greatly influenced by two mentors C.W. Mundy, a well-known oil impressionist painter and lthe late artist Gene Jones, a great oil painter in his own right. Julie will be exhibiting a number of her paintings in several styles at the gallery walk. Please see her website for more information about the artist and her work

A highlight of Julies exhibit will be her painting of the Japanese tea garden which was commissioned by the city to give to our sister city in Japan. Please go here to view more information about the painting and our Japanese garden.

Wine and Canvas, a mobile business that brings the party to your favorite venues, corporate events, or living room! They supply the canvas, brushes, paints, easels and even an apron to keep your clothes clean while their LOCAL artist instructs you step-by-step through re-creating the featured painting of the day. At the end of the event, you’ll take home a masterpiece of your very own! Tamra Scott will be set up from 5-9 p.m with complimentary classes on the hour, all supplies included . Guest Artist: Thomas Woods
Thomas Woods has established himself as “The Artist” early on in the Carmel school system and the Art Academy of Cincinnati, winning many awards for his paintings and fabric sculptures.  He presently is concentrating on ceramics, where his whimsical and poignant ceramics are beginning to attach quite a following. Woods delightful ceramics can be found at the gift shop at the Indiana Design Center
