"Laurie has developed a great sense of design and color in her art."  In Laurie's words, "I feel that most colors complement in one way or another so I have been able to leave many of my concerns about color behavior behind. I think in bright and saturated primary colors and I like to combine them with their complements. By hiding elements in the color, I reward the careful and intent viewer for his attention."
