United Way of Central Indiana Fall Food Drive & Festivities

FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
The Carmel Arts & Design District and United Way of Central Indiana partner hand-in-hand and invite you to “Fall” into the District on Saturday, October 27 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Enjoy the Arts & Design District in a fun and festive atmosphere complete with a hay wagon, live entertainment, sidewalk sales, fall food vendors, pumpkin decorating, trick-or-treating the merchants and more!

  Also, starting Monday, October 22, select Arts & Design District merchants will be designated drop-off locations for canned goods and art supplies benefiting United Way of Central Indiana. On Saturday, October 27, join us for the fun fall festivities and the culmination of the canned good/art supply drive.

Entertainment Line-up:
10:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. - Actors Theatre Singers
11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - One-Piece Suit
12:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. - The Archtops
2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. - Shane Rodimel
4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. - Barometer Soup

  • Accent Details (# 30) - Cute Witch or Ghost Making; Fun Fortune Telling with $1 donation to the Arts Scholarship Fund
  • Artichoke Designs (#21) – Enter at both store locations for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate!
  • Arts & Design District Office (#38) – Make your own stuffed animals at the Stuff-N-Fluff Workshop! The first 30 kids in costume receive a bear FREE!
  • Bella Chic Interiors (#106) –$1 off per canned good or art supply donated. Valid towards furniture purchase. *See store for details and limit
  • Carmel Old Town Antique Mall (#50) – Prize drawing
  • Ferrin's Fruit Winery/First Ave. Cookie Co. (#102/100) –Kettle corn, fresh pies, and free kids games (Ring Toss, Lucky Sucker, and Bean Bag Toss)!
  • Joe's Butcher Shop (#32) – Warm Joseph Decuis Soup tasting from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Keepsakes Fiber Art Studio (#97) – Make and take needle-felted pumpkins
  • Mudbugs Cajun Cafe (#53) – Special of the Day: Fried Turkey Dinner with Dirty Rice and Maque Choux. While supplies last.
  • Petals & Fine Gifts (#37) – Dip sampling
  • State Farm Insurance (#55) - Free road atlas or pedometer with donation of canned good or art supply at State Farm

Children’s Activities from 1-4 p.m.

  • Pumpkin decorating and trick-or-treating the merchants

  • Full fantasy face painting by Sugar Buzz
  • Fortune telling at Accent Details
  • Make-and-take needle felted pumpkins at Keepsakes
  • Kids games from the Carmel Clay Parks

From 1- 4 p.m., children are invited to come in costume and trick-or-treat in the Arts & Design District. Look for an orange pumpkin displayed in merchant storefront windows that indicates participating trick-or-treat locations.
